GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY GATEWAY NETWORK EXPANDED TO SUPPORT MDDEAS® DEPLOYMENT

March 21, 2022

GCEL has expanded its global Technology Gateway network to include a 12th participating technology firm under framework agreements supporting the worldwide deployment of MDDEAS®, the Multi-Dimensional Digital Economy Application System.

The Technology Gateway network brings together trusted technology providers from across the globe, collectively generating more than USD 300 billion in annual revenue and employing approximately 3 million professionals. These organizations support many of the world’s leading enterprises, including companies represented within the Forbes Global 2000.

The network was established to address the limitations of fragmented digital systems by supporting a neutral, non-monopolistic Digital Economy platform that enhances existing business systems rather than replacing them. MDDEAS® serves as the integration layer connecting commerce, finance, insurance, and logistics across global value chains.

The initiative responds to demand identified through GCEL’s G20 research, where 94.5% of participating businesses indicated the need for new digital tools to improve competitiveness.

By 2037, the Technology Gateway network is expected to generate more than USD 600 billion in additional revenue while helping organizations expand trade, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency worldwide.
