GCEL, INSME, BVMW, and CONFAPI signed strategic agreements at the European Parliament to support deployment of the Digital Economy Platform (DEP) through the HumaWealth Program and advance implementation of the G20 Nations Case Study recommendations.

The agreements support the digitalization of the global B2B marketplace and aim to improve trade efficiency, expand market access, strengthen SME participation, and promote sustainable economic growth.

Signatories included Captain Samuel Salloum (GCEL), Dr. Sergio Arzeni (INSME), Patrick Meinhardt (BVMW), and Annalisa Guidotti (CONFAPI). The initiative also established the European Benchmark Trade Lane between Italy and Germany to enhance digital connectivity and trade cooperation.

The G20 Nations Case Study was conducted with 90 G20 ministries, international organizations, academic institutions, and private-sector experts. The study collected nearly 1.2 million data points across 19 industries and found that 90.4% of participants lacked integrated systems, while 94.5% expressed demand for the Digital Economy Platform.

The initiative is projected to reduce annual trade costs by USD 3.7 trillion, increase trade by USD 7.7 trillion, create a USD 1 trillion SME fund, and generate approximately 300 million jobs by 2030.

Deployment of the platform is supported by strategic agreements with leading global technology firms, creating a framework for large-scale digital transformation, improved trade efficiency, and expanded economic opportunities worldwide.
