INSME SHOWCASES GCEL’S DIGITAL ECONOMY PLATFORM TO STRENGTHEN SME PROSPERITY

GCEL’s Digital Economy Platform was presented at the 15th Annual Meeting of the International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises (INSME), held in Naples, Italy on June 6, 2019, under the theme “Fintech & Logistics: New Technologies and Markets for SMEs.”

GCEL Co-Chairman Captain Samuel Salloum demonstrated how advanced digital tools can help SMEs reduce costs, improve access to finance and logistics services, and expand their participation in global trade.

The event brought together senior public- and private-sector representatives from organizations including the OECD, Italian Trade Agency, CONFAPI, BVMW, European Investment Fund, DHL Express, and Intesa Sanpaolo.

INSME is a legally recognized non-profit association operating under the auspices of the OECD, with 64 members across 30 countries. The organization promotes innovation, technology transfer, entrepreneurship, and the sharing of best practices that support SME growth and competitiveness.
