INSME AND GCEL EXECUTE COLLABORATION AGREEMENT TO SUPPORT SME GROWTH THROUGH THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

On September 8, 2015, the International Network for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (INSME) and GCEL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a collaborative framework aimed at supporting SME growth through innovative Digital Economy solutions.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Andrea Di Anselmo, President of INSME, and Mr. Gregory Bird, GCEL Deputy Secretary-General.
INSME is a non-profit international association dedicated to promoting innovation, technology transfer, and public-private cooperation to strengthen the development of SMEs worldwide.
Through this partnership, both organizations committed to advancing initiatives that improve trade efficiency, expand market opportunities, create new jobs, and enhance the ability of SMEs to participate in international commerce.
A key component of the collaboration is GCEL’s HumaWealth Program, which includes deployment of the Digital Economy Platform. The platform is designed to improve the validation of trade information, strengthen access to trade finance, and provide innovative digital tools that help SMEs grow, compete, and contribute to sustainable economic development.
