India’s Leading Technology Firms Sign Initial Agreements to Support Digital Economy Deployment

INDIA’S LEADING TECHNOLOGY FIRMS SIGN INITIAL AGREEMENTS TO SUPPORT DIGITAL ECONOMY DEPLOYMENT

June 01, 2016

On July 1, 2016, three of India’s leading technology firms signed initial agreements for potential selection as either the E-Hub Technology Partner or a Technology Gateway for the deployment of the Multi-Dimensional Digital Economy Application System (MDDEAS®).

The initiative reflects growing interest in leveraging advanced digital technologies to unlock new commercial opportunities and expand services across emerging markets worldwide.

The selected E-Hub Technology Partner would deliver cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions across digital commerce, finance, insurance, and logistics while supporting the establishment and operation of global data center infrastructure. The partner would also collaborate with the world’s leading technology firms serving on the E-Hub Technology Governance Board to enhance and commercialize the platform.

In addition, selected Technology Gateways would connect businesses to MDDEAS® through seamless integration with existing systems or through direct digital access for organizations without established platforms.

Together, these technology firms would participate in a new market opportunity projected to reach nearly USD 400 billion by 2030.
