TELANGANA STATE EXECUTES PRELIMINARY AGREEMENTS TO HOST THE E-HUB OF THE WORLD
August 06, 2016
On August 26, 2016, Telangana State’s Ministry of Information Technology, Electronics, and Communications signed a preliminary Public Partner Agreement to support hosting the E-Hub of the World in Hyderabad, recognizing the transformative potential of the Digital Economy.

The proposed E-Hub includes a secure Tier-4 data center campus spanning more than 100 acres, initially supporting 5,000 personnel and projected to grow to 50,000 employees by 2030.
Telangana already hosts operations of many of the world’s leading technology companies, which could participate in the E-Hub Technology Governance Board through an equal-opportunity selection process. These organizations would support the development and enhancement of MDDEAS® applications and digital gateways connecting global trade participants to the platform.

The E-Hub of the World is built around a Core Triangle consisting of a Public Partner, a Technology Partner, and an Academic Partner. Together, these entities provide the governance, innovation, infrastructure, and policy support required to ensure secure and continuous access to the Digital Economy Platform for the global trade community.
